Abstract submission guidelines
The guidelines for submission are below:
General Guidelines
- Word Count: 300 excluding tables and figures
- Structure: Include a clear and concise introduction, methods, results, and conclusion.
- Language: Use clear and concise language, avoiding jargon.
Case study content guidelines
- Title: Provide a clear and concise title for your case study.
- Your Name and Key Collaborators
- Description of the Case Study make sure to include:
- Overview of the NCD Management Challenge: Describe the specific NCD management challenge you addressed.
- Public Health Impact: Explain the significance of the issue and its impact on the affected population.
- Best Practices and Strategies: Detail the strategies or interventions you employed to manage NCDs in the humanitarian setting.
- Context of the Case Study make sure to include:
- Location: Specify the location where the case study took place, including any relevant details about the setting.
- Humanitarian Context: Describe the humanitarian context, including any concurrent crises or challenges that influenced NCD management.
- Community and Host Country Insights: Provide relevant information about the host country or community, highlighting any unique aspects that influenced the approach to NCD care.
- Discussion of Best Practices: Discuss the key lessons learned from your experience. Refer to the seminar theme “Voices from the Field” and consider how your experience contributes to improving NCD care in humanitarian settings.
Conclusions and Recommendations:
- Summarize the main takeaways from your case study.
- Provide two practical recommendations for other healthcare professionals managing NCDs in similar settings
